Blake Lively Joining Pippa Lee

Blake Lively ("Gossip Girl") is set for a principal role writer/director Rebecca Miller's The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, the comedy-drama set to start shooting this month in Connecticut.
Lively is joining a cast that includes Robin Wright Penn, Julianne Moore, Wynona Ryder, Keanu Reeves, Maria Bello, Alan Arkin and Monica Bellucci.
The pic is an adventurous trip through Pippa Lee's past and present, as a methamphetamine-addicted mother whose husband leaves her for a younger woman. Pippa indulges in an array of erotic adventures while heading toward a quiet nervous breakdown.

Lively tries on Chanel at night

Nothing comes between Blake Lively and Chanel.
Not a brutal Gossip Girl shooting schedule, which had her on set starting at 4 a.m. and then going to a 9 p.m. dinner Monday. And not a steady, day-long downpour, which might have kept less hardy fashion fans at home.
So Lively, accompanied by her co-star and rumored beau Penn Badgley, turned up for the annual Tribeca Film Festival dinner thrown by Chanel. Each year, it's held at a hot venue and this time, it was at Ago, in the new, ultra-pricey, just-opened Greenwich Hotel co-owned by festival co-founder Robert De Niro.
"I love clothes. Chanel is it for me. It's the top of the top. It's so silly how happy Chanel makes me," gushed Lively, clad, of course, in a Chanel frock. "I own way too much. People have to intervene in my life — my business manager, my publicist and my friends tell me I have to stop going to Chanel." ... Read More ...

Gossip Girls stars Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Jessica Szohr, Penn Badgley, Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen have made it to the list of People magazine’s famed 100 Most Beautiful list.
Other television stars who made it to this year’s list include former Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell, Eva Longoria, Christina Applegate and Vanessa Hudgens.
Movie stars who made it include Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Julianne Moore.

Filming Gossip Girl

 Blake was seen filming Gossip Girl's scenes for her GG mother's wedding yesterday. She made a lovely bridesmaid in her yellow, ruffled floral print Ralph Lauren gown and Kelly Rutherford (Lilly) wore Vera Wang. This is set to be the last day of GG season one filming. wow.

'Gossip Girl' ratchets up raciness at season's end

Ed Westwick lowers his head, narrows his eyes and curls his mouth into his signature Chuck Bass snarl. Hovering at the edge of the "Gossip Girl" schoolyard set wearing one of the dandy's trademark candy-colored garments (this one's a traffic-cone orange trench coat), Westwick hops up and down, shaking out his arms like a boxer about to enter the ring.
His foes? Two of TV's most, well, gossiped-about girls, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), the lead characters on the modestly rated but wildly buzzed- and blogged-about CW teen drama that's arguably permeating pop culture in a way not seen since "The OC."
Smoothing down his sideburns, Westwick completes his Chuck transformation, striding across the ersatz courtyard in front of the rolling cameras and sidling up to Serena on a bench.
"It's been awhile since I saw the old Serena," he growls into her ear.
"Gossip's" gaggles of fans are thinking the same thing. Tonight at 7, Serena, Blake, Chuck and the rest of the preternaturally groomed gang of private high schoolers are back on the Upper East Side to continue the cavorting begun before the writers' strike. Shenanigans then included breaking into the school pool for a martinis-and-bikinis party; sleeping with a boyfriend — and his best friend — as Blair did; and taking the inevitable pregnancy test. All of which, of course, "everyone does," jokes Meester, especially within the same week. At the end of the last episode, Blair's reputation is in ruins, and Nate, her ex, is adrift, having lost both his girlfriend and his best friend, Chuck.
Expect ratcheted-up raciness in the final five episodes of Season 1, cast members say. "These scripts have been really, really juicy and exciting," Lively, 20, says. ... Read More ...
