“Gossip Girl” Stars Get Upfront

Out promoting their hit show, the stars of “Gossip Girl” turned up for the CW Network 2009 Upfront at Madison Square Garden in New York City on May 21.
Representing the ladies were Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr - all of whom posed solo before joining alongside one another for a group shot.
As for the fellas, Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick both looked snazzy in suits as they posed for the cameras.
And though the “Gossip Girl” cast seems to have secured a solid future with strong ratings, it was just announced that the CW has scrapped their spin-off plans of a show featuring Brittany Snow as Lily Rhodes.

The ‘Gossip Girl’ actress – who was joined by her boyfriend and co-star Penn Badgley at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala on Monday - often opts for “ethereal” outfits on the red carpet to stop her looking motherly. She said: “My style is always changing, but I always tend to look for something more ethereal and flowy and not as straight. I don’t like anything too frumpy.” The 21-year-old beauty – who has been dating the 22-year-old actor since they met on the set of the US show – wore a blue Versace gown at the exclusive gala evening.

Half of the fun of watching Gossip Girl is checking out all the awesome clothes. Well, clothing designer Anna Sui must love GG, too: She's doing a Target diffusion line inspired by our favorite Upper East Side gals!
Famous designer Anna Sui, whose clothes are usually in the price range of the rich GG gals, is going to do a Designer Collaboration line with Target that will make the clothes a lot more affordable. The clothes will channel the style of Serena, Blair, Little J, and Vanessa, and will be available in 250 selected Target stores in the fall.

They had a marvelous time at the MET Costume Institute Gala last night (May 4) and afterward, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were spotted hitting up an after party at Monkey Bar.
The “Gossip Girl” costars and real-life lovers looked super hot as they made their way to the Marc Jacobs-sponsored shindig, doing their best to avoid the paparazzi.
Blake sported a sexy teal evening gown with a scandalously-plunging neckline while Blake stuck to the classics in a dark suit and tie.
Other celebrities who attended the party included Bar Refaeli, Miranda Kerr, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel, and Kate Hudson.

Their hit show “Gossip Girl” has wrapped for the season, and on April 5 Blake Livley and Penn Badgley were spotted arriving at LAX International Airport to catch a departing flight.
The CW cuties looked a bit camera-shy as they made their way past the paparazzi, preparing to board an international plane to Thailand.
And though these two are a couple of the hottest rising stars in Hollywood, both Blake and Penn were seen checking in at the Premium Economy (coach) counter, rather than First Class.
At the “Gossip Girl” wrap party last week, held at the Bowery Hotel, Penn was said to be so focused on his game of beer pong that Blake couldn’t convince him to call it a night. An eyewitness told press, “[She]kept trying to get him to leave, but he was so focused on the game that he begged her to stay.”
