They’re no strangers to fabulous industry events, and on April 2 Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were looking cozy as they left the Topshop/Topman Grand Opening after-party.

Per the show’s Web site, “Devastated by the recent plot twist in her life, Blair (Leighton Meester) turns her back on her predictable Waldorf existence in favor of a more wild and unpredictable lifestyle, causing Serena (Blake Lively) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) to have serious concerns about their friend. Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) convinces Nate (Chace Crawford) that it may be time to forgive and forget when it comes to his mother’s Kennedyesque family, The Vanderbilts, who abandoned Nate and his mother when they needed them most. In a misguided effort to be completely honest with each other, Lily (Kelly Rutherford) and Rufus (Matthew Settle) agree to share lists of their past lovers.”
Wrapping up shooting for their hit show, the stars of “Gossip Girl” were spotted leaving the set on a rainy evening in New York City on April 1.

The Chuck Bass hunk tells, “Well, you know, we like to keep our audience on their toes. We just shot the finale for the season, and there’s an interesting conclusion. A happy one, I hope everyone will think.”

As for “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee,” it seems the film falls into a precarious category, receiving mixed reviews thus far.
One critic wrote, “While watchable, it’s not exactly a commercial property or, for that matter, art house material, and thus represents a marketing challenge unlikely to receive critical support.”

Gossip Girl’s leading lady looked super trendy in a grey turtle neck dress underneath a camel colored leather jacket.
Being on set for 17 hours a day doesn’t leave much free time for Fashion Week (or anything else for that matter), but Ms Lively chose to attend today’s show in between takes.
Of Ralph Lauren’s clothes, Blake says, “You could wear it ten years from now and it still looks classic. He dresses for every age.”

Trying her best to forget her last painful exchange with Chuck, Blair (Leighton Meester) focuses her attention on being accepted into the most prestigious ladies club in the city, Colony Club. Jenny (Taylor Momsen) returns to Constance Billard and immediately takes on Penelope (guest star Amanda Setton) and her posse of mean girls, but no one is going down without a valiant Gossip Girl-worthy fight.”

Stars Leighton Meester and Blake Lively were having trouble getting in and out of the very high heels the scene called for. “They needed crew members to help get them on,” our on-set spy dished. “The girls also had a lot of trouble walking in them.”
Which explains why the two starlets immediately slipped into their Uggs the moment the cameras turned off. Once comfy, Leighton played with her BlackBerry while Blake talked shop with the camera crew and costume designers.
Lively was overheard asking about a pair of Stuart Weitzman heels that an extra had been wearing a day before. The blond fashionista was upset when she heard they were the actress’ own. “Man, I loved them,” she sighed. We’re sure that Lively, like her character Serena Van Der Woodsen, will find a way to get what she wants!
