Blake Lively and Penn Badgley: Freezing on the Set

Showing their dedication to their hit show “Gossip Girl,” Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were spotted freezing their derrieres off yesterday on the New York City outdoor set.
The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” star and her hunky on/off-screen boyfriend sipped hot coffee and stayed warm with big overcoats in between takes.
And it sounds like “Gossip Girl” has lost the character of Aaron Rose after producers and fans both showed lackluster response to his role.
An inside source revealed, “Aaron Rose was a big character in the Gossip Girl books, and I know the plan was for him to stay around a little longer. But some of the powers that be weren’t responding well to the way the character was going.”

Blake Lively: Winter Weather Worker

Working hard on the set of her hit CW show, Blake Lively was busy shooting scenes at Le Petite Oeuf Cafe in Brooklyn, NYC on December 16.
Upon getting a break in the action, the 21-year-old “Gossip Girl” star ran away from paparazzi in the falling sleet while on the way to get prettied up in the wardrobe and makeup trailer.
Meanwhile, Blake’s co-star boyfriend Penn Badgley recently interviewed with GQ magazine, but failed to offer up much about the couple’s romance - other than that nearly everything reported about the pair is wrong.
Oh-so-eloquent with his wording, Penn tells, “95 percent of what you read is bull----!”

Blake Lively: Ray-Ban Babe

Proving that the sun never sets on cool, Blake Lively was spotted sporting some shades at last night’s Ray-Ban Remasters event in New York City.
The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” hottie looked fantastic as she sauntered down the red carpet outside the Bowery Ballroom, sporting an orange leather jacket overtop a black shirt/black trousers/black boots combo.
And in a recent interview, Blake revealed that while she’s definitely on the way to superstardom, her dog Penny usually gets more attention when they’re out in public.
“A lot of people come up to me and they’re like, ‘Oh, my gosh, are you …’ and I think they’re going to ask if I’m from ‘Sisterhood’ [“The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” Lively’s best-known film], and they say, ‘with that really cute dog?’”
But it all works out in the long run. “Anytime anybody comes up to me, I always get a little shy. But I have my cute dog now. She gets all the attention.”

Penn Badgley and Blake Lively: At Work in NYC

Continuing to pump out amazing episodes of their hit show “Gossip Girl,” Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, and Leighton Meester were spotted hard at work on an Uptown Manhattan set on December 9th.
The CW cuties looked intense as they ran lines and filmed scenes, staying bundled up as they worked in the chilly conditions outside.
And according to reports, “Gossip Girl” may already be getting ready to birth a spin-off series to be part of next year’s CW roster.
Though there hasn’t been any word on which character would leave the show for the new series, rumor has it that an upcoming episode may double as a backdoor pilot, gauging audience interest for the spin-off.

Blake Lively is a starving artist. “I’m hungry. You hungry? Let’s meet at Sant Ambroeus,” she says, by way of cell phone introduction. Within minutes she’s stepping out of a taxi, an endless stream of legs and golden hair. The pint-size ristorante in New York’s West Village is, on a Saturday afternoon, predictably packed with the type of diners who are too cool to freak out about the numero uno Gossip Girl but not so jaded that they don’t notice her. Over the course of the next hour and a half, only a mother and her trembling tween daughter openly fawn over Lively. Sure, a guy at the next table chats her up, but that’s only because he really, really needs to know if he should order the eggplant appetizer that the gorgeous 21-year-old is digging into with gusto.
Considering the week she’s had, it’s easy to understand Lively’s need for a little comfort food. Five days earlier her father, actor Ernie Lively, was in a major car crash, and Lively rushed home to Los Angeles to be with him. A cascade of scheduling changes was set off by her departure: Television scenes, a magazine interview and a cozy dinner party she was planning to host in her downtown Manhattan apartment all had to be postponed. After winging back to Gotham on the red-eye, she went directly to the set at 5 a.m. Thursday and worked 16 hours. Friday was another long day of portraying perhaps the hottest senior ever to roam the hallways of the fictional Constance Billard School for Girls. Saturday kicked off with a crack-of-dawn photo shoot, and now lunch with a reporter. Still, Lively is in high spirits for the simple reason that Dad’s okay. “He’s doing great, all things considered,” she says. “It was very serious. And it’s hard to be on the other side of the country from him. I’m so used to being within 10 minutes of my family.”

Blake Lively Checks Out “Australia” Premiere

Taking a break from her duties on the “Gossip Girl” set, Blake Lively was spotted checking out the swanky premiere of “Australia” last night in New York City.
The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” actress arrived t the Ziegfeld Theater looking fabulous as usual in a white cardigan sweater-style top with a salmon-colored belt and a black lacy skirt with black heels.
Notably absent from the red carpet fun was Blake’s on-and-off-screen boyfriend Penn Badgley who skipped the arrivals area and met her inside to screen the film.
Coming up next Monday (December 1st), “Gossip Girl” is all-new with “It’s a Wonderful Lie,” in which Blair and Chuck try to find dates for each other for the annual Snowflake Ball.

Blake Lively and Penn Badgley: Hard at Work

Continuing to work on what’s now become an extended second season, Blake Lively and her off-screen lover Penn Badgley were spotted hard-at-work on the set of “Gossip Girl” in New York City on Friday (November 21).
Joined by co-star Taylor Momsen, the CW stars ran through a few sequences - during which it appears as if Blake’s Serena van der Woodsen character is a bit upset with Badgley’s Dan Humphrey.
Meanwhile, it was recently announced that Connor Paolo, who plays Blake’s little brother Eric van der Woodsen, has turned down an offer from the show to become a series regular.
“He probably didn’t want to commit to being ninth fiddle on a show,” a TV agent told of his thoughts on the reason for turning down the permanent role. “Sure, he’ll make less money, but he’s free to accept other opportunities in TV and film should they come along. It’s not a bad move if you have aspirations to do other things.”

They look great together on their hit show “Gossip Girl” and Blake Lively and Penn Badgley are just as cute off-screen. Last night (November 17th) they were spotted looking lovey dovey at the 5th Anniversary of the CDFA/Vogue Fashion Fund.
The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” babe and her hunky boyfriend arrived at Skylight in New York City, posing for pictures and chatting with fans.
Blake showed off her natural assets with a cleavage-baring black blouse teamed with a high-waisted black and white patterned skirt and black heels, while Penn opted for a black button-up shirt, black trousers, and black shoes.
Coming in February, Miss Lively will be gracing the cover of Vogue magazine, with new First Lady Michelle Obama taking the honors for the March issue.
