CW announces fall lineup

 CW viewers will see a pretty familiar schedule next season.
The network is leaving Monday and Thursday nights intact, while adding only three new series to its weeknight schedule: the "Beverly Hills, 90210" spinoff, dubbed "90210"; drama "Surviving the Filthy Rich" (formerly "How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls"); and reality show "Stylista."
"Gossip Girl" and "One Tree Hill" will keep their Monday perches at 8 and 9 p.m., respectively, while "Smallville" will continue to lead in to "Supernatural" on Thursday nights. ... Read More ...

'Gossip Girl' behind tinted windows

 "GREY'S Anatomy" has the elevator. "The Real World" has the confessional room. And "Gossip Girl" has the limousine. They are places where characters unburden themselves, out of the view of others. And because they're not being watched, they sometimes behave as they otherwise might not; remove becomes a sort of enabler.
Earlier this season, Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) famously surrendered to the advances of grade-A cad Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) in the back of a limo. Last week, Lily van der Woodsen (Kelly Rutherford) used hers as a mobile therapy space with both her daughter, Serena (Blake Lively), and her former boyfriend, Rufus Humphrey (Matthew Settle).

The CW's "Gossip Girl" season finale spiked to deliver the show's highest rating since November on Monday, while NBC's "American Gladiators" continued its rapid ratings decline.

Penn Badgley confirms he's dating 'Gossip Girl' co-star Blake Lively

 It's not mere gossip … Penn Badgely says his relationship with Blake Lively is the real thing. Now that their super-hyped TV show, "Gossip Girl," has wrapped for the season, Badgely finally opened up about his on-set romance with co-star Lively, 20.
Rumors of the two being more than just friends heated up after they were spotted smooching on a recent vacation to Mexico's Mayan Riveria.
"Obviously, there's chemistry there," Badgely, 21, told E!'s "Daily 10." Despite that, he quickly added that he was "not a fan" of on-set romances and thought they could "cause a lot of drama." (Romances causing drama? Wait, this sounds like a TV show. ...)
The newest teen heartthrob also said shooting the show in New York City is different from L.A., calling the Gotham city a bit "tame" in comparison. Source: nydailynews.com

Turns out TV's most fashionable Upper East Siders get accessorized by a local designer based in Fremont. Yes, all the Gossip Girls are buzzing about Kimberly Baker Jewelry, which is the brand behind Georgina's Wolfette ring, Vanessa's Dorothy necklace and Serena's signature "S" mod ring featured prominently on The CW's hit show, "Gossip Girl."
"The stylists from the show saw my work and asked me to send them pieces. It kind of went from there," Baker said. "Most recently, Georgina has been wearing the Wolfette ring ... it's a silver wolf with flowers on its head." ... Read More ...

Lively slams 'Gossip Girl' rivalry rumours

 Blake Lively has described her rumoured rivalry with Gossip Girl co-star Leighton Meester as "nonsense".
The actress, who plays Serena van der Woodsen in the US teen drama, accused the media of "pitting the women against each other".
She told E! Online: "I think it's so silly that they try to pry into our personal lives and create drama. All this me against Leighton thing is the biggest nonsense in the world."
She claimed that paparazzi would take pictures of the pair looking fed up between takes because of shooting frustrations, then use the snaps as evidence that they hated each other.

 Last Weekend, Gossip Girl co-stars Blake Lively and Penn Badgley went to Paraiso de la Bonita, a resort in Mexico's Mayan Riveria. We haven't known for sure if they are dating or not, but they were definitely acting very close on the beach. There was even some kissing going on! Maybe something has started between these two Gossip Girl stars.
